It took exploring different career paths, such as the oil and gas industry and hospitality, for Tamra to find her true passion in interior design. She started with the Dallas Design Group in 1986 and became a registered interior designer three years later. Tamra currently serves as the firm’s general manager, which allows her to utilize her vast experience and keen management style. Her role includes overseeing all facets of the business office, design teams, advertising, and marketing and being an active buyer. Her hard work and dedication to the firm and its clients have allowed Dallas Design Group to thrive as a truly extraordinary design firm.

Away from work, Tamra enjoys time with her family—husband of 35 years, Jimmy; daughter, Shelby, and son, Jordan, in addition to her pet family: Cockapoo Harley and Flame-point Siamese Ozzy. She’s recently discovered a fascination with genealogy, but she’s also an avid reader and occasional gardener.
