Rebecca Kennedy, Allied ASID and Interior Designer, attended the CIDA accredited, Art Institute of Dallas, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Interior Design program. Studying Interior Design gives Rebecca a unique combination of skills that merged her artistic abilities with her knowledge of interior construction detailing and specifications, resulting in a unique vision for the overall “Composition” of any given space she is designing.
Rebecca has practiced professionally for 18 years, but comes from three generations of artists, interior designers and home builders. She would say, “I was raised on the jobsite.” This life long experience and upbringing in the arts and construction offers Rebecca an edge in helping her clients understand and guide them through the difficult process of construction. Her passion and education of The Arts and Architecture gives her projects a sense of refinement, edited elegance, and a balance of all elements in a space. “I treat every space like a piece of art. There is a delicate balance of all the design elements that make a space flow and feel right.”
Rebecca thrives by creating projects that uniquely capture her client’s vision. “To be a good designer, you have to get out of yourself and truly get to know your clients on a personal level. It’s not about me, it’s about them.”
