The 88th Oscars, Our Favorite Red Carpet Looks

POSTED ON: March 02, 2016, BY Dallas Design Group

The 88th Academy Awards were this past Sunday and all the A-listers came to impress! As always, there were some misses, yet some incredible, great hits! So if you missed the Oscars, we are here to help.  We decided to have a little fun and we took a poll here are the office and we chose our top picks for the best dressed women, men and couples of the night!

These ladies did not disappoint! From rich colors to gold tones, from a dimensional look to clean line gowns, these women had amazing looks for this memorable night.

“Giuliana Rancic’s gown stood out to me! I love the classic silhouette and color choice of this gown. A classic white is a great choice for February when we are in between seasons. The simple neckline and beautiful applique floral details were just enough to make this dress one of my top Oscar dress picks!”

- Chelsea Hargrave

The women weren’t the only ones stepping out on Oscar night! These men chose to step out of the box from the classic black and white tuxedo and we LOVED it.

“Eddie Redmayne looked so debonair in this fitted suit. He took a classic look and added just the right finesse with the velvet jacket and velvet shoes! Literally from head to toe, I loved everything about this look!"

-Priscilla Rodriguez

While many stars wowed on their own, there were some couples that rocked the red carpet together in style. Each of these couples looked good individually but together they were amazing, from dark and edgy, modern clean lines in complementary colors, to classic beautiful details there was something for everyone.

“Tom Hardy and his wife knocked it out of the park for me. She looked beautiful in a black top lace dress with plunging neckline.  Her beautiful gown, complimented Tom Hardy’s more edgy look to the classic black suit, with sunglasses and pocket accessory.”

-Heather Gorney

We hope you enjoyed our favorite looks! What were your faves? Want to see more on the Oscars red carpet? Check out Eonline.
