EMMA THELEN -
ASSOCIATE DESIGNER
Emma Thelen, Allied Member ASID and IIDA, earned her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Texas Tech University’s CIDA-accredited program, graduating with minors in both Architecture and Spanish as a member of the Honors College. While in college, she studied aboard in Italy, visiting Venice, Florence, and Rome, an experience that broadened her perspective on design and deepened her appreciation for timeless European architecture, intricate detailing, and the enduring beauty of craftsmanship. This exposure to historic artistry continues to influence her work, inspiring her to thoughtfully combine traditional elegance with creative, unexpected touches.
Emma is passionate about the creative process, especially the art of curating materials, finishes, and textures into a cohesive design vision. She loves incorporating statement wallpapers, distinctive lighting, and unique vintage finds to bring warmth, personality, and character to each project. Her designs often strike a balance between classic sophistication and inviting comfort, ensuring every space feels both beautiful and livable.
Her four years on the Texas Tech Pom Squad instilled a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and artistry; qualities she now applies to her design work. She approaches each project with the same energy, precision, and collaborative spirit that she brought to performing on some of the nation’s largest stages.
